"travelling to new countries is always a great adventure. So is the food!"
- David Whitehill

David's career started at SeaWorld on the Gold Coast as a Dolphin Trainer, where he worked for five years training and being involved with the interactive programs.
"working with animals each day is such a privilege. The dolphins have fantastic personalities and definitely keep you on your toes"
His passion for animals and the environment is something that David continues to develop through his life & television career. After winning Cleo’s Bachelor of the Year, he joined the Nine Network in 2003 as a host on the national children’s program, Hot Source. The style of this show was a mixture of ad-lib, studio components, interviews, and location stories. He completed 400 episodes and couldn't have asked for a greater introduction to the television industry.
In 2004 David began hosting the national music program, So Fresh, which ran for three years. The series was filmed on location around the country and involved interviewing the who’s who of the music industry and bringing the top music from around the world to the Australian audience.
In the same year, David began his travel career on Queensland Escapes, presenting travel based stories on assignment throughout Queensland.
David’s competence in the outdoors saw him tackling scuba diving, sky diving, and a range of travel activities. He has since gone on to produce and present on Saturday Afternoons and Scenic Tours Canadian Adventures for the Nine Network, making him a very versatile television personality.
In 2005 David was involved in the filming of Skating on Thin Ice as a celebrity ready to put his body on the line on national television. Working with the likes of, Jamie Durie, Deni Hines & Imogen Bailey.
